Blimey. It’s been a while hasn’t it? I’m very sorry for the lack of blog posts recently – wedding season has been very busy! I thought I might start again by having a bit of a recap?
I’m Steph, founder of Fairy Nuff Flowers. I set up the company in 2005, after nearly ten years working in sport and journalism. I’d always had a passion for flowers, so when the time came to leave the BBC there was only one direction I wanted to go in. I opened my flower shop in July of 2005, in the pretty village of Old Shepperton, right next door to a beautiful church, just a stones throw from the River Thames. After five years I realised, that despite enjoying my time in Shepperton – I wanted to concentrate solely on weddings. Working from a purpose-built workshop in my garden in Hampton Hill, Fairy Nuff Flowers is dedicated to providing the very loveliest wedding flowers imaginable.
Over the last decade and a half, Fairy Nuff have provided flowers for over a thousand happy couples, at some of the most wonderful venues in London and the southeast of England (with a few a little further afield). We’ve flowered Claridges and the Ritz, St Pauls Cathedral and Chatsworth House, umpteen beautiful barns, too many teepees to count, boats, marquees, pubs, hotels, gardens, a castle or two, a monastery, and even an old asylum!
Our flowers have changed over the years, but our style is still to squeeze as many blooms as possible in to our arrangements, we absolutely love sumptuous bouquets that are full of pretty petals.
There are some pictures below of some of our recent bouquets. If you’d like to see more – do follow me on Instagram, and very soon we’ll have a brand new website to show you.
If you’d like to get in touch regarding your own big day, drop me an email at steph@fairynuff-flowers.co.uk and we can arrange a chat!
I’ll be back very soon with another update.
