Now that work is calming down slightly, I have time to blog some of the gorgeous weddings we have been lucky enough to work on over the Spring and Summer.
And to kick off my return, I bring you Sara and Chris’ beautiful wedding at Hampton Court House, with fab photos by Brett Symes. When Sara sent me a few photos, I fell instantly in love with them – and how gorgeous did the happy couple look?
Sara’s bouquet included Gardenia and Duchesse de Nemour peonies, white and pale pink stocks, sweet peas, Blushing Bride proteas, and astilbe. We even added in a little something blue, a little hidden bow in the middle of her scented bouquet. Sara’s six bridesmaids carried bouquets of pale pink hydrangeas, whilst the boys buttonholes were made up of proteas and astilbe.
Similar scented flowers were carried throughout the rest of the displays, including the ceremony flowers, mismatched low mercury glass vases on the tables, and a spectacular hanging flower ball. We even got to add peonies, astilbe and proteas to the beautiful cake, by Andi Freeman Cakes – one of our favourite cakey people!
I adored working with Sara and planning her perfect petals – massive congratulations to you both! And a huge thank you to Brett Symes for letting me share the photos.
Sara left us this lovely note on our Facebook page the day after the wedding!
“Thank you so so much Steph…our flowers (especially my beautiful bouquet) were STUNNING!!!! The boys loved their buttonholes too!!
You are amazing and we had so many guests ask who created our beautiful flowers. I loved every petal xxxx Sara”
