The beautiful Mijin and David married at Rushton Hall in Northampton last August, on a gloriously sunny day.
David found and booked Rushton Hall while he was in England on a business trip (without Mijin even visiting the venue. How brave?!), whilst the blushing bride found us through Style Me Pretty. One of our favourite wedding blogs.
And so the long distance planning started. The couple live in New York, so Skype and email were our best friends, and I loved every minute of our plotting.
It was also lovely to work with a group of suppliers we know well. Sev of Hepburn Collection and Mariam Jenson were in charge of making Mijin look super stunning, just before she slipped in to her truly beautiful Suzanne Neville gown.
Mijin wanted to fill the day with beautifully scented blooms. We used O’Hara Roses, Sweet Peas, Stocks, Peonies, Tuberose, Bombastic Spray Roses and Hydrangeas in the bridal bouquet. It was one of most fragrant bunches of the year! The same mix of flowers were used throughout the day, with a few added extras along the way.
Thanks for sending over these perfect pictures Sarah, and thank you Mijin and David for choosing us to make your flowers, and for being so utterly lovely.
Dear Steph, Thank you so much for making our wedding so beautiful, elegant and stylish, exactly what I envisaged for it!! The last nine months of our hard work, including our numerous Skype chats, emails and Pinterest paid off beautifully on our wedding day. I got so many compliments about our flowers. You are super talented!! Thanks again for making our wedding so magical. It was so much fun working with you x Mijin and Dave
