We do love every single one of our weddings, but this one, a few weeks ago at The Lanesborough in London town was extra fab, as we got to play with a whole host of pretty candy coloured blooms.
The beautiful bride and all the boys decided to stick with classic white blooms – Avalanche Roses for the boys’ buttonholes and Ranunculas for the blushing bride. She did have her heart set on Peonies, but they were only just coming in to season and the quality was poor, so a bouquet of beautiful British grown Ranunculas was the final choice.
The brand new sparkly Mr and Mrs Byrne kept it simple in the ceremony room with a “wild garden” display filled with Snowdrops.
The colour inspiration for the flowers at the wedding breakfast came from tutus that they were giving to their flowergirls as gifts. It took a few trips to market with the lovely bride-to-be to get the colours just right, but I think we got there in the end…
The biggest congratulations to the wonderful Mr and Mrs Byrne. Thank you both for letting us play a flowery part in your wonderful day x
