A pretty sweet Fair

A few weeks ago, we joined forces with Sweetie Pies Boutique Bakery at the Landmark Wedding Fair in Teddington to try and charm the lovely local brides and grooms with pretty flowers and yummy cakes, and what a scrumptious day we had!

Our pretty stand at the Landmark Wedding Fair

I’d met Becca several times whilst setting up weddings we were both working on, got chatting (as you do), and a lovely friendship was born. Becca’s gorgeous shop in Church Street, Twickenham is open Tuesday – Sunday and offers the scrummiest hot chocolate (along with tea and coffee of course), freshly made cup cakes and other baked goodies – as well as making bespoke wedding and celebration cakes. Along with her cousin Nicola, they are quite a talented team!

We opted to set our stand for a wedding, and this is what we came up with. The reactions on the day, comments and feedback have been amazing, and thanks to this, we both have brimming diaries full of brand new brides to visit in the next few weeks – we can’t wait.

Got a spare vintage teapot? Stick some pretty flowers in it immediately!

Yet more cake, and yet more flowers

Becca created these stunning mini cup cakes for all the brides and grooms to taste – they went down a complete treat…and I only had three all day. I was very proud of myself.

Anyone for a little cake taster?

A last look at our full stand, and a close up of one of the bridal bouquets I made. Lots of Sweet Avalanche Roses, herbs, Stock, Waxflower and Parrot Tulips.

And I shall leave you with my favourite cake of the day – this stunning hand painted cake is my idea of heaven – Becca, you are one talented cake designer.

Thanks to everyone who visited our stand, and I shall look forward to meeting lots of you again in the next few weeks x
